They should just fly into Aspen. ) Boat is located in the north (near the Interstate-70 corridor is the main access to the slopes, you will not be able to mountains and snow while driving in Colorado in the winter months to prevent the boat to Aspen. The main problem with this route is that all state highways cleared Arent for them as often as I-70, are not as broad as the I-70, and are much longer, because it 2-way error they have the appropriate budget for major bridges and tunnels. I can only guess, but I think you are in at least 8 hours for Block 2 Lane Road in Aspen. to a close I-70, if you must drive, if the traffic is terrible today, probably. I just want to steam-skiing, if you want to be raped with the most expensive resource of Colorado, and Vail is so bad. Steam is much more relaxed in a city that not so many celebrities such as high-profile "and some of the best powder / Aspen Skiing in the country. Not a lot, like Aspen or Vail (which is my favorite place and it is absolutely great) But a good resource, but. If you want to go to another ski resort in Vail, you will not be disappointed, I, it is best to think not Aspen. If you look at the mountains of the southern resort id somewhere like Telluride, Crested Butte, or the monarch, which are smaller fetch, but also receives heavy snowfall, and are much less of a show, then Aspen. Snowmass, a mountain or two outside of Aspen, is a good place, but also very expensive, and yet, like skiing in a city that is like Beverly Hills.

On another message, if you take the plane to be very careful. Every year there are at least a few private pilots who think they can, flights in the Rocky Mountains, which is ultimately not come out until spring, and not some kind of bag that you want to control transport in a very dangerous and above all time to fly a small plane. Lawyers tend to be in Texas, which is planted on the side of a mountain, but the probes have generally flat no idea what it is to navigate the mountains.

Good luck! The boat is a great place, andif you can catch the "cowboy alpine thats pretty fun to watch. It is a very hospitable people, compared to Aspen / Vail.

Depends on the weather, of course. But it is not likely to snow. And a large part in a small 2-lane is not a priority for road teams. I have repeatedly been. It is still too high is the only good news.

If you do your day would be fun to see more of Colorado. On the evening will be a task, and when it's snowing a little scary.

You can comfort in the fact that Steamboat has to remain much cheaper.

It depends if you four-wheel drive or 4-wheel-drive, you must be safe. But if not, although it will depend comftorble when you drive in the mountains (on paved roads.) Moreover, if it is snowing hard when you would not go there myself, so it's probably good want but you have to think about how you feel comftorble while driving.

This is one of the problems can be solved only after he comes, and what time you expect. If it's not on the trip in the mountains, used / snow, I would not if the weather is not great. MapQuest is also more than 3 hours - it would be under ideal conditions.
If you do not have tickets, do you think of flying weapon? I do not know how big the airport know - only that a plane had embezzled clients Rifle Aspen Airport last weekend and to get there. It is possible that only a small jet airport.
